Overview
This is an entry, to mid-level position designed for a college student studying Finance, or related Business field. Student will work with Financial Planners and staff and see how concepts learned in class are applied in a client-based setting. Intern will see how changes in economic conditions impact individual financial decisions and investment strategies.
Assists in day-to-day office operations and provides direct support to Client Relations specialists (CSAs) and indirect assistance other areas of the business as needed.
Hourly, seasonal position, college-breaks. Must be 18 years or older. Background checks and fingerprinting required and paid for by employer.

Display excellent customer service and understand that the client is at the center of everything Delphi does. Must pay attention to detail and exhibit both a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude. Able to adapt to new situations and technology. Be able to take initiative and work productively in a team environment. Commitment to complete activities by given deadlines and be ready to present completed projects to the Team.
Work Details
Engage with clients in person and over the phone to provide service and support including, but not limited to: greeting clients and vendors, answering phones, taking messages and redirecting questions to the appropriate person, receiving packages and mail.
Learn and become proficient on CRM (RedTail), OmniSource, Wealthscape, and aggregations platforms (eMoney) by collecting and entering New Client facts. Link accounts and assist clients to maintain data connections. Create Riskalyze/Morningstar reports prior to client reviews.
Daily activities will include Broker-Dealer changes for new clients, while special projects may include participation in new advisor Broker-Dealer changes. Other project work to be determined based on applicant’s skill set and experience.
Will have exposure to: RedTail, Ominisource, Wealthscape, eMoney. Compliance to FINRA rules with client communications
Work in a group environment by monitoring and completing workflows and tasks. Communicate with clients via email. Submit Client Maintenance information to Broker-Dealer.
Other Information
Work schedule to consist of 20-30 hours per week with flexibility regarding course work. Dress code is business casual.
Additional hours may be required for client off-site events and occasional evening appointments. Benefits not available.
